How I Use My Bullet Journal Every Month

July 31, 2026 by Liz SanFilippo Hall

I don’t remember when I started bullet journaling, but it was sometime after I had kids. My brain felt too chaotic, and I needed something more “personal” than a regular old planner. Now, it’s a regular part of my daily (and monthly) routine.  But it isn’t Pinterest worthy (I write, even as I plan to share this on Pinterest).  And it’s even simpler than it was when I wrote this post about … [Read more...]

Network Marketing was a Mistake… But I Don’t Regret It (Completely)

November 7, 2025 by Liz SanFilippo Hall

I used to sell makeup through network marketing.  Oof, that felt a bit hard to admit! The industry as a whole is controversial, and I get that. To some, it seems scammy and annoying. To others, it feels empowering and a great way to earn financial freedom on your own terms.  It was that second part that got me. When my first was born, money was tight. I had gone from working full-time to … [Read more...]

It’s a practice that has gotten me through life in more ways than one.  When I don’t know what to think about a situation? I … [Read more...]

Reflections on 2022: Where I’ve Been and Where I’m Going

January 4, 2023 by Liz SanFilippo Hall

Let me start this by saying: this blog isn't going anywhere. I may be sharing my reflections on 2022, but I also recognize that it's been a loooong time since I've posted to my Oops & Daisies blog. A whole lot has changed since I last wrote and shared a post on here, nearly a year and a half ago. But I think just about everyone can agree that, over the last few years, little has gone as … [Read more...]

Mindfulness Practices Even When We’re Busy: Book Review of ‘Everyday Mindfulness’

January 20, 2021 by Liz SanFilippo Hall

I have always loved the concept of mindfulness: slowing down and being present. But as a mom with two young kids? Practicing mindfulness can be, shall we say, difficult. While I have found small ways of working it into my life over the years, I've always been on the lookout for new approaches to mindfulness that work with my crazy, busy life on a regular basis. *** Oops & Daisies … [Read more...]
